When the people of God join together with a common goal, we can do great things. The joint effort of the people of God working together to fulfill His commandments created a spiritual house worthy of God's Dwelling Presence.

The prophet Jeremiah says that in the Messianic era, when all nations are gathered to Jerusalem, the ark of the covenant will not even be missed. This implies that, though it will not be missed, it will still be missing.

We often see pictures of Jesus in churches, but the real Yeshua never actually went to a church. He attended synagogue. Luke 4:16 says it was His custom to attend the synagogue every Sabbath.

Making the Tabernacle

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, he assembled the congregation of Israel and told them to build the Tabernacle. In the same way, when Messiah comes again, He will gather together His assembly from the four corners of the world and rebuild His Father’s house.

And Moses Assembled

Before beginning to instruct Israel in all of the work of the Tabernacle, Moses first gives them the commandment to rest from work on the Sabbath. The concepts of Sabbath and sanctuary are tied together. Just as the Tabernacle is a sanctuary in space, the Sabbath is a sanctuary in time.
