Trembling at the Word

A Scriptural Study that will Change your Worldview

By FFOZ Teachers, First published in June, 2005

Format: DVD or Audio CD

Today many of us find ourselves in a renewed pursuit of the truth. We have come to realize that the simple power of the Scriptures has been diminished through thousands of years of man-made theologies and methods of interpretation. Trembling at the Word is a seminar designed to discover what the Bible—all of it—means and how we are to obey it.

“Trembling at the Word” is not about fear—it’s about respect and honor! We tremble at the magnificence of God Himself, and at His grace, that He demonstrates in sharing His thoughts with us. The Scriptures become to us the living breath of the Almighty, not just ancient words. They are a revelation fully realized and found in the Messiah Yeshua, standing completely relevant in our 21st Century, speaking to us in tones that resonate deeply in our spirits—the disciple of Yeshua will be found trembling at the Word.

Seminar Sessions

#1: A Biblical Benchmark

Discover that God’s revelations to mankind were sequential. Consequently, the Written Scriptures are also sequential and build on one another. Therefore, if we want to grasp a complete understanding of our faith from God’s Word, we need to clearly understand the foundation—the Torah. This session will give you a new perspective of how Yeshua (Jesus) understood and applied the Scriptures.

#2: Trembling at the Word

Many in the Body of Messiah today have made the Word of God ‘manageable’ by shirking their responsibility to its commands with an assortment of reasons. Let us be serious about what God says. This session will look at specific theologies that have divided God’s Word and show the relevance of specific
commands in the lives of today’s people of God.

#3: Biblical Boundary Stones

All of God’s Word is instruction—boundary stones—set up by Him long ago. We have to be careful not to allow our own theologies to move those boundary stones. God placed the boundary stones; they are His boundaries for us. We must reconsider if we have restaked new claims. This session will encourage us to dig deep and find those ancient,
timeless, biblical boundaries.
