Haggadah Treasures

The Seder meal on Erev Pesach begins with Kadesh—the Kiddush prayed over the first cup of wine. The Kiddush ends with the Shehechianu blessing, which is traditionally prayed on the first night of every Festival: "Blessed are You, God, King of the Universe, Who has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this season."

The Golden Garments
Every object in the Mishkan, in its minutest detail, was designed by its Architect not only for its physical function in the Dwelling Place of His Presence, but that it might reveal profound spiritual truths to His People. As we examine each object and how it is placed in association with another, we are able to learn much that is significant to our understanding of ourselves as His living Temple, or Dwelling Place, today. This truth applies to the special garments of the High Priest, described in detail in Exodus chapter 39, and which we examine here.
