Shavuot "Shabbat Shalom"

June 6-10, 2008

Join First Fruits of Zion this Shavuot for an informal gathering of special Sabbath teaching and fellowship. The Sabbath is a time of meeting with God and meeting with friends. This year at our Shavuot get-together we intend to do both.

Be the first to experience our soon-to-be released Sabbath Siddur. See it, hear it, and enter a Sabbath rest with it. There is absolutely no doubt you will be blessed.

This Shavuot we’ll be looking at some of the interpretations, deeper meanings, traditional applications, and Messianic innovations surrounding Sabbath. As a simple gathering of friends, our goal is to celebrate the feast of Shavuot with a larger group of like-minded people while introducing a traditional approach to Sabbath observance.

Your Sabbath table will come alive with song as you will hear and learn new and old melodies in Hebrew and English that will fill your home with simcha (joy).
Your congregations will become more closely connected to the greater people of Israel as you embrace traditions that date back to the synagogues that Master sat and worshiped in.

We have been given the gift of the Sabbath. Now may we give the Father a gift in return. A gift of a life of Sabbath observance that truly makes it a unique and sanctified day of study, song, worship, fellowship, and good deeds.

We look forward to keeping the Sabbath with you!
