The high holidays are here. A few weeks from now it will be Sukkot and the start of a new year of Torah study. At First Fruits of Zion, we are gearing up for the new Torah cycle, excited about the new Torah Club offerings we have for this fall.
First Fruits of Zion began publishing Torah Club in 1993. Twenty-one years and six volumes of Torah Club (which have passed through numerous editions and revisions) later, we are happy to reveal the new Torah Club format: Our case-bound, hardcover editions of Torah Club. Unrolling the Scroll and Chronicles of the Messiah have already made the transition to the new format and are available as the annual Torah Club option for Pillars and Allies.
In conjunction with the new release and the start of the new Torah cycle, we have just launched our completely redesigned and restructured Torah Club website. The new site has gone through a complete transformation, using a new responsive design that is also fully mobile-friendly.
The new website features an easy-to-discover Resources section where you will get all the information about each edition of Torah Club, watch videos, download brochures, and get other in-depth information about each Torah Club resource. Head over to the new website! We are also introducing a very special offer on the new Unrolling the Scroll.
Other new sections include:
- Weekly Torah: A place where you can read excerpts from the current and previous week's Torah portions, adapted from Torah Club resources.
- Portions Library: A collection Torah Club excerpt and short commentaries on every parasha of the Torah.
- Disciples: Short vignettes from the life of Yeshua and the adventures of the apostles, as well as the Master's teachings, parables, insights, and wisdom, adapted from other Torah Club volumes.
Both the Weekly Torah, and the Portions Library are also neatly integrated in another new section, Torah Portions (which will also interface fully with a new Torahportions.org, coming in due time). The Torah Portions section at Torahclub.org gives details and summaries of the weekly Torah readings.
Look out for more exciting new changes on all of our other websites in the coming months.
