 Lessons from the Land

Idolatrous Food

Episode 17: Beit She'an is a magnificent city, strategically placed at the junction of the Jezreel Valley and the Jordan River Valley in northern Israel. Today tourists to Beit She'an can witness a rich history spanning the timeline of human presence in the area. In the apostolic age the city was largely Hellenized with Roman decor, bath houses, and even an amphitheater in the city. Being in Beit She'an reminds us of believers living in the pagan society of Rome and the issues that the Apostle Paul deals with in Romans 14.

In this video blog, Daniel and Steven Lancaster join together to give you a glimpse into the holy land of Israel. Archaeology, geography, geology, along with the language and cultural history of the Land and the People of Israel make the words of the Torah, the Psalms, and the Prophets - the Scriptures of Israel - come alive. In this video blog you'll get a raw peek into the experience of being on a First Fruits of Zion Israel tour and learn many valuable truths and biblical lessons in the mean time.
