The great and famous battle between King Josiah and Pharaoh Neco would cost the King of Israel his life and bring great mourning to the nation. These are the historic events behind the prophetic lamentation found in Zechariah 12 which will one day find a second fulfillment when the nation again mourns for another pierced King of Israel.
