If She Can Do It...You Can as Well.
We have several test groups running through the HaYesod program. We are blessed to hear the early feedback. This note from the Armbrust Family in Flint, MI was encouraging to me, I hope it is to you as well. Michelle is writing, she sings in the church choir, home schools 3 kids and is helping to run two HaYesod groups. None of the people in her group are predisposed to Torah and are Christians eager to hear about their roots. Here is the feedback from their first group. Here is her note.
I meant to email you today and let you know how great everything went last night. Life sure can get busy with 3 children and homeschooling!
As far as HaYesod - the material was awesome! You all did such a great job. It is so professional and the 70 minutes just flew by! There is a great balance in the teaching from Daniel and going to Toby and you in Israel. I thought it was excellent and everyone seemed to be right on board with everything. I love how you have the page numbers in the corner - and you really take time to make sure that everyone knows when and where to fill in the blanks. The content was right on - and presented slowly enough that I think everyone understands pretty well. I am excited to hear more from the group as we will hopefully have more time to talk about the DVD next time.
We tried to start on time - but with introductions and one person showing up late - we weren't able to do the discussion questions for the night. We are going to start the next meeting with them. We need to end on time because of the children and the distance that the other family with kids has to drive. We were able to discuss the transition and the digging deeper sections - and we played the doctrinal section from About FFOZ. I even got a thank you for playing that part. It is so excellently done and really shows the heart of your ministry. I know that everyone was even more reassured about the teaching after hearing all your doctrinal statements.
Overall - it was great. We had a great fellowship time in the middle and the group is already connecting. Hopefully it will work out to offer it at church. We shall see!
I have a couple of questions that I hope to post on the Leader's forum tomorrow that were brought up that I can't answer. I want to make sure that I always come back the next time with answers to all questions that were brought up.
