Prophet Margin
Tags: Prophets, Torah, Torah Club forum
I was joking around the other day when I wrote, "I am reading a book on the Prophets and just learned that the time from the first Prophet to the last Prophet is called your "Prophet margin." I got a couple of laughs and ALOT of groans from people. But, recently I have been fascinated by the study of the Prophets.
Beginning after the fall festivals the new reading cycle of the Torah begins. FFOZ has recently rewritten Torah Club 3 that centers on the haftarah readings for each parasha. I am very excited about this study since I (like many) are confused sometimes by the Prophets. The langauge of the Prophets, though beautiful, also can be confusing, especially since we are so seperated from their culture and practice.
To read more about Torah Club 3 click here.
Torah Club also allows you another way to connect and study with people from all over the world. When you become a part of Torah Club you are given the ability to sign on and become a member of the Torah Club Online Forum. This is a special benefit to being a part of Torah Club. On the forum we ask questions, share prayers, and talk with each other about our various walks.
Consider signing up for Torah Club 3 and becoming a part of the Torah Club Online Forum. We would love to learn with you as we continue together learning about the Prophet Margin.
Shalom,
Bill
