Exile! When Does It End?
"At First Fruits of Zion, we are listening, waiting, and longing for that day when the Torah will flow forth from our land--the land of Israel. Day cannot exist without night, but even the longest night must come to an end. At the end of darkness, there is a light. The prophets of Israel predicted an end to the current exile, a light at the end of the tunnel, and the coming of the Messiah. They have a message from God for all of Israel: for the Modern State of Israel, or the nation of Israel--the Jewish people, and for the whole body of Messiah--the commonwealth of Israel. All we need to do is listen to the voice of the prophets."
This is the closing paragraph from my opening letter for the new Torah Club Volume Three. If you want to hear our take on the last days as we understand the words of the prophets, this is the volume for you. I have been encouraged and blessed in reading the preliminary drafts. The study is enlightening, engaging, and fresh.
On a personal level I spent many years in Torah study and by the time the day rolls around to study the haftarah my mind is spent and I'm ready for a nap. While certainly this next cycle I'll be reading the Torah portion, I plan to put the majority of my learning into understanding and exploring the prophets of Israel. I have only reviewed the first several portions, but I have already learned a great deal, corrected past misunderstandings, and have gained a greater appreciation of the struggles and development of early Israel. I have also heard the cry of the prophets for redemption and the reign of the true king of Israel.
I understand that my promotion of this resource could be viewed as somewhat self-serving. After all, First Fruits of Zion is the publisher of this monumental work. My role in the overall ministry maintenance and management of our mission at times does not allow me to get involved on a detailed level in the beginnings of projects such as this. However, I've been able to sneak in and take a peek, and what I've seen is impressive. The team at First Fruits has once again put together something that will bring understanding and knowledge to the body of Messiah and, most importantly, glorify and honor the name of our Messiah.

Additionally your membership serves this ministry by enabling us to develop resources which continue to push forward our mission of taking the Torah to the nations, just as our Master commanded us.
