Honesty & Truth
Tags: falsehood, honesty, lying, mishlei musings, proverbs, truth
As we have discovered, there are many blessings to be found in living a life of Torah through Messiah. The Father promises to take care of those who call on His name and are obedient to His ways. We will learn in this episode of Mishlei Musings that one of the ways of Hashem is truth. The Messiah always spoke the truth and the Scriptures are clear that this is a requirement of all who follow Him as well.

Visitor Feedback:
The remark about all the papers needing to be signed at a mortgage closing, all due to our inability to tell the truth, ah, it really hit home for me! Thanks for this exhortation to speak truth in all things, Toby.
Shalom.

Todah Rabah this was sweet like honey.......and because i know
THE ALMIGHTY is one who alwys keeps His word...this caused
me to fall in love with Him all the more. We must always
be a people of Integrity if we are to bring Him glory & honor
in our lives. But i find most do not walk this way, they
lie to themselves & therefore lie to others....making
themselves sick mentally, emotionally, physically
& spiritually. Living a life of truth at all times
is painful, because the fact is sometimes the truth hurts
& its not pretty thats life. But the truth sets us free & keeps
us free. Let US all keep the buckler of truth firmly in place.
~~~~Shalom~~~~
Blessings~ Was very touched by the lesson on honesty and example of how one can tell a lie in innocents as when he had to sign mortgage papers that were "a foot high". I had to smile at the example, we have bought many homes and never were the papers "a foot high". We have become so desensitized to lies we don't even see them many times. Even exaggeration is a form of lieing. Reminding me to be more aware of and chose my words even more carefully. Todah Rabah.
