Coming up for Air
Since Holy Cow! was released nearly 4 years ago, I've been busy. I had my first baby 2½ years ago, and my second one a few weeks ago.
Ok, I didn't really have another baby. Rather, I was part of a team that gave birth to another book. After over 6 years of gestation, our bouncing-baby-cookbook finally came out: the What the Bible Says about Healthy Living Cookbook, the follow-up to Dr. Rex Russell's landmark book, What the Bible Says about Healthy Living.
I'm excited to share this book with FFOZ constituents, since it's essentially the prequel to Holy Cow! Sure, you'll love the recipes. But the presentation of the Leviticus 11 food laws is so subtle and gentle that it makes Holy Cow! look abrasive. You can find out more about the book here.
On a much sadder note, Dr. Russell fell into a coma just before the book was complete, and he passed away just as it was released. You can read the obituary of this amazing man here.
Finally, as an FFOZ exclusive bonus, you have the option of having your cookbook spiral bound for an additional $2, although this special binding is free for orders placed in February.
Whichever binding you choose, my hope is that it will be a blessing to you and to those you might share a meal with!
