FFOZ on YOUTUBE!
As one of the moderators of the FFOZ Torah Club Online Forum I like to explore all the possible ways that we can make the most of that little place in cyberspace. This summer we have been doing an ongoing study of the Pirkei Avot and continue to walk with each other through our questions. But, I still do not think that we as Torah believers have begun to really tap all that the internet can provide for helping us get the word out.
The other day I was cruising the information super-highway and I made my way to YouTube, where I have subscribe to various teachings from Rabbis around the world. For all the draw backs to a system like YouTube one can also find many benefits.
Just for fun I typed in "First Fruits of Zion" and I was amazed to find videos! FFOZ has it's own page on YouTube. Immediately, I began sending emails to my friends and family saying, "You have to see this video" or "You have to listen to this teaching". What a great way to get people thinking about how they can broaden their understanding of scripture.

Yes, there is a lot of evil on the internet. Some sites do have aspects of them that go contrary to the principles of God, but they can also be used for good. I think of the story of Joseph...
Gen 50:20 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.
Check it out...bookmark it...use it. It might just be a good way to share with others why you follow Torah and think it important.

Visitor Feedback:
What is funny is I was on YouTube a few days ago looking up stuff, I was looking up Matisyahu videos. But once I was done that I also decided hey why not type in First Fruits of Zion and boom the videos came up.
That is pretty funny that we both stumbled across it.
**Bill's response: The Ruach must have been doubling up on blessings that day. LOL

Very good video, but it did not go far enough in giving the
CORRECT interpretation of the scripture. If your eye
was good, then you were a generous person, but if your eye
was bad, then you were a miserly person who did not give
freely.
**Bill's repsonse: Thank you for pointing that out. I only posted the first part of the teaching to wet people's appetite. The teaching is actually posted in two parts on YouTube. The second part addresses the issue you mentioned above. Here is the link to part two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7LM2ceq9DQ
