Members who join Myffoz receive premium content each month. One of the features is a monthly eRosh calendar which lists both biblical and Gregorian calendrical dates. Listed according to the biblical calendar are the various biblical feasts and festivals as well as the traditional Judaic and Apostolic dates. Various Biblical Feasts and Festivals are listed according to the Biblical Calendar; within the calendar traditional Judaic and Apostolic dates and commemorations are added as well.
Due to space limitations on the calendar itself, the various commemorative dates are left without explanation. Therefore, beginning with the current Hebrew month, Adar I 5768, the FFOZ blog page will begin hosting blogs offering the history and context of each calendrical festive date. This series of blogs will provide the reader with information from various sources (the Scriptures, rabbinic literature, Josephus, the Church Fathers, etc.) that shed light on the origin and customs behind the specific date. These blogs will also offer explantions as to the practical application of the various dates (e.g. yartzeit customs, observances of festival dates, etc) as well as their relation, when applicable, to the early Apostolic community of believers and related references as found in the Apostolic Scriptures.
