Today was beautiful in Israel. The skies were clear and the weather was perfect. Today we did a shot at Tel Dan about Christian holidays—some of you are going to love it, some of you will absolutely hate it. But we like it. You’ll have to wait for the new program to see how we treated this topic. Any guesses?
Here is a picture of the Golan today taken just outside Qiryat Shemona. It was the clearest that I have ever seen it.

After our morning shots I had promised that if everyone hit a homer that we would go to Aroma for an ice mocha. We hit it, and we enjoyed a mocha and a shokolad croissant. I should make that incentive each day as everyone was on their “A”game and did really well. Baruch HaShem! Here is the Golan!
At dinner we were discussing the Siddur. We have included in the Siddur a section from Mathew 6 at the conclusion of Shabbat where the Master is telling us to not worry, toil, or fret in this world. This text fits in well to the Havdalah service as we leave the provision and protection of Shabbat and re-enter the world. With this text in mind we saw some of the first lilies of spring in the North blooming today. Remember how the Master spoke about the lilies of the field clothed like Solomon in all his splendor? These red flowers on the green hills are wonderful. Here is a picture of a lily from the Sermon on the Mount “mount” from our travels today.
We are all well. We are still having issues with some of our equipment and need to get it resolved—but we are moving forward. By the way, today is Purim Katan (little Purim)—if it were not a leap year this year this evening would be Purim. Purim is in a couple of weeks—you should try to get together with friends at that time to read through the book of Esther.
May the Lord bless you from Israel (it is really nice to be able to say that).

I just had to tell you again, thank you so much for the pictures and update. How lush the land looks (important to a cattle rancher :)
It is neat to see the actual season Israel is in (when the lilies are blooming, wheat ripe etc.) it changes slightly every year, early or late. Since we make our living off the land and the rain that is given to us, we are always looking closely at the little changes. How nice it is to see where THE LAND is at.
Thanks again, MaRae King
