Articulate in 2008
Moses believed that he was unable to speak to Pharaoh, the Egyptians or the Israelites. He felt unable to eloquently articulate God’s covenantal faithfulness to His people Israel.
Then Moses said to the LORD, "Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” (Exodus 4:10)
The Marharal of Prague made commentary on this Scripture and taught that Moses did not have a speech impediment. Instead, the Marharal believed, the problem was that Moses perceived the truth so clearly that words failed him. He was so overwhelmed by the revelation of God that He felt unable to adequately communicate it to others.
Have you ever felt this way? We face significant complexities when we attempt to share our Messiah-faithful, Torah-centered lifestyle with others. It can be so difficult to communicate that, at times, we choose to simply remain quiet. When we do share, we sometimes stumble feeling “slow of speech and slow of tongue.” We struggle to convey the precious truths that have been revealed to us by God’s Spirit—even in such a limited nature.
First Fruits of Zion endeavors to serve you best by creating professional, balanced and passionate teachings on the Torah and discipleship. We are in a unique position, and we want to do everything we can to help you share the message with others.
Lord willing in 2008, First Fruits of Zion hopes to complete a prayer book that contains the ancient prayers of the people of God. Additionally, we plan to create an outreach teaching tool on the foundations of our faith from a Hebraic perspective—reconnecting the people of God to the Land, the People and Scriptures of Israel—with the all new HaYesod program. Both of these resources, on different levels, will help all of us articulate the awesome revelation that is in our hearts, which our mouths find so difficult to share. In addition to the Siddur and HaYesod (two major projects on our docket) a few of the other resources that we will be working on, and with God’s help, completing in 2008 are as follows:
~ Online Scripture reference index that cross-references all FFOZ print, audio, video and online teachings.
~ “Getting Started in Hebrew” (DVD series and student workbook)
~ “Hallowed Be Thy Name: Sanctifying God’s Sacred Name” (book)
~ “Breaking Bread: In Everything Give Thanks” (book, melody training CD, and pocket prayer book)
~ “To Whom Shall We Go?” (DVD series and student workbook)
In addition to this quick overview, we aspire to continue to nurture along many other projects as well. Behind the scenes, we will continue to research and work on resources like a video documentary entitled, “Sect of the Nazarenes,” which traces the Torah faithfulness of the early believers in Messiah through the Land of Israel.
We are always busy creating materials that are prayerfully developed to help expand and share this message. Consider joining us in this work with a year-end, tax-deductible donation to the work of First Fruits. Or consider becoming an FFOZ Friend by giving a monthly donation. Either way, you will be joining our voices to share this message.
Thank you for your prayers, friendship and support.

Visitor Feedback:
Boaz,
As a 24 year old who has been Torah observant for only about a year and a half, I have to admit that I am unfamiliar with the Ha Yesod program. I have fielded many questions from family members who are plainly baffeled at my decision to become Torah observant. Unfortunately, I think that there are at least a few of us with family members or friends who have little or no Biblical foundation. Within Ha Yesod, are there any tips contained in or sections devoted to sharing the Messianic message with people with a limited knowledge of Scripture?
Thanks,
Wade Green
**Reply** Wade this is what the whole program is geared for and intended to do. It is (will be) a tool for you to use to graciously share the message of Torah and discipleship in a planned, balanced, and progressive manner—the fruit of the program in the past has been overwhelming. With the new fine tuned approach and updated video, workbooks, etc it should, Lord willing, also produce much fruit.
