Conversions: Cheaper by the Dozen Part 2

I wanted to personally thank all of you who have commented in my last blog post about the mass conversion to Judaism. It was meaningful for all of us here at FFOZ to hear the encouragement to go forward with our message and particularly that of the “To Whom Shall We Go” conference.

Some of you might know that although we have only released two of Daniel’s sessions form this conference on CD, we have video taped the entire series in anticipation of releasing this sometime in the future. Here is a breakdown of all the sessions:

Session One: My Brother’s Keeper We should all have a sense of responsibility in the battle to defend our Master— our declaration of Him requires another level of training and preparation to defend Him. This session sets the pace for the event as we examine the purposes, needs, and timeliness of this message in the Messianic movement.
Session Two: To Whom Shall We Go? John 6 and conversion to Judaism. The problem with being a “secret believer” in the Jewish community. Answering legitimate Jewish objections to Yeshua’s messianic claims. The difficult words of Yeshua. Why believers are called “believers.”
Session Three: New Testament Texts and Canon The origins of the Gospels and Apostolic scriptures. Textual variants and supposed contradictions between synoptic Gospels. Trustworthiness of the genealogies in Matthew and Luke.
Session Four: As it is Written The most classic anti-missionary book. Claims of New Testament writers misapplying biblical prophecy. Looking at several contested biblical texts. Midrashic method evidenced in Gospel/Apostolic material. Is the New Testament reliable?
Session Five: Biblical Battleground For nearly two thousand years, Christians and Jews have argued over several key passages about Messiah, such as Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, Daniel 9 and many others. Can Yeshua be proven to be Messiah from within the Hebrew Scriptures or not?
Session Six: The Exalted Rebbe Deveikut, discipleship, the Tzadik and the Suffering Tzadik. Chabad and Chassidic approaches to reconciling a high Christology with Judaism. Can the Messiah come twice?
Session Seven: The Missed Mitzvah Stumbling over Yeshua—why is He such an impediment? Belief in Yeshua is not an option—it is a Torah commandment.
Session Eight: The Deal Breaker Jewish objections to the need for an intercessor and atonement. Reckoning with the Son of God. The emptying of Messiah. Toward an Apostolic Christology.
Session Nine: The Biggest Hurdles Seven areas common to the Messianic movement that cause people to leave the faith of the Master. Areas that seem to legitimize our opponents’ claims and messages.
Session Ten: Confessions of a Convert Conversion to Judaism is the easy way out of the tension that faith and balance require. In this closing session you will hear the very real and raw confessions of a convert to Judaism. Hear the hard and disappointing lessons of not looking to Yeshua for identity, acceptance and participation in God’s people.

The final package would be (God willing) a DVD set along with a study workbook. We had hoped to have this out by the end of 2007 but alas more projects than our small staff can handle came up and it will not come to pass for now. If you would like to see this product released as well as many other things that FFOZ is eager to release to the body of Messiah, I encourage you to consider giving an end of the year donation. Every little bit helps as we seek to further the Kingdom of Heaven.
