Spreading Simcha Part 4
Before Sukkot I made a petition on behalf of an organization in Israel that is directed by a good friend of mine. You can read about his work here. Those of you following these blog posts, know that originally I promised three blogs but I thought it might be good to share with you about what we were able to do and how thankful my friend Tomer was for your generosity.
All in all, we were able to collect close to $10,000 for his organization. Tomer was overwhelmed by your generosity and here is a sampling of some of my communication:
“WOW, AMAZING, Baruch Hashem”
“Hashem will bless you all; I don’t think that “words” will describe my feelings and my appreciation towards your efforts and care.”
“The best I can do is to ask from Hashem that He sees everything to bless you and to give you all you need and wish.”
“Thank you a lot for your real care, and for your efforts and work, you are special.”
I hope these words begin to show you all how much you have helped. It touches me deeply to know that here at First Fruits we have such a wonderful family that when a request for help goes out, you respond so generously. In times like this, I feel that our ministry is fruitful and truly blessed. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness. You may never know the impact you have had.
