So what do you talk about?

Some of you who are new Torah Club Members or are possibly thinking about becoming a Torah Club Member might be wondering what it is that we do on the Torah Club Online Forum. Here is a small sampling of some of the questions we are currently learning about and struggling with.

+ How does one observe Sukkot in a Northern more cool, wet climate?

+ Does anyone have any homeschooling resources they could recommend?

+ I would like some in depth understanding and knowledge on this verse. (1 Tim. 4:3)

+ Can anyone clarify for me the difference between "ish" and "Adam" in Hebrew"?

Sometimes we also share with each other prayer requests. We even have the opportunity from time to time to share exciting events and words of encouragement with each other. Many of us are separated by time, distance, practice, backgrounds, etc…but the Torah Club Online Forum allows us all a place to get together and learn, support, and encourage each other.

If you are not yet a Torah Club member it is never too late to subscribe. If you are Torah Club member then take advantage of the registration information and join us on the Torah Club Online Forum.

RE: 1 Tim 4:3 I believe that this verse (in context) is an example of some of the teachings that are found in the church that have no scriptural foundation. Certain faiths forbid a leader of an assembly to marry, and also to eat certain foods on certain days. This would never counter the laws of HaShem regarding unclean foods. The entire chapter is about apostacy in the houses of HaShem and we should be cautious about breaking the Commandments.
