All Together
In the book of Acts we get a look at what the community of believers was like after the ascension of the Master. One of my favorite passages is Acts 2:44, "And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common." Can you imagine how wonderful that must have been? What a beautiful thing, the community of believers all together in one accord. (Which I recently learned does not mean they all drove Hondas.)
Since the gospel has been spread to all the four corners of the world and there are now believers everywhere it has become a logistical impossibility for us to be "all together." But, the internet allows us the next best thing. It gives us the ability to be together even when we are separated by the miles.
Since I have been on the Torah Club Online Forum it has been great fun and a real blessing to share thoughts, ideas, and teachings with people from all over the world. I will never forget one of the first conversations; I was trying to explain ice fishing to someone who lived in the south. You want to talk about cultural differences, try explaining that one!
The Torah Club Online forum has become a place of real blessing. I have looked forward to my times signing on and reading the new posts. Either someone has posted a new question or insight they got from their own Torah Study, or someone has responded to a question. It is also a blessing to have many of our FFOZ teachers chime in from time to time to share their thoughts and teachings on a certain topic. It is the next best thing to being with them in person and being all together in one accord.
If you are not currently a Torah Club member it is never too late to sign up for Torah Club. The Torah Club page will give you a lot of information on how you can become a member of this great teaching resource.

Once you become a Torah Club member please take advantage of the registration information you receive and become a part of the Torah Club Online Forum. It is a great addition to your Torah Club materials and allows you opportunities to learn more and ask questions. It is also a great way for us from all corners of the world to be "all together" as we all learn about the Torah, both living and written.
