Muslims Destroy Temple Archaeology
The Temple Mount Muslim Waqf is at it again on the Temple Mount with heavy construction equipment, and once again, Israeli officials refuse to intervene to stop this great act of archaeological vandalism. The Temple Mount surface has never been excavated by archaeologists, primarily because the Muslim world wants to believe that the sight is not a Jewish holy site and that there never was a Jewish temple located on it. The Temple Mount is under Muslim control, and no archaeologists are allowed to dig there. Since the site has never been excavated, the soil is actually filled with artifacts and architectural remains of the Holy Temple, from both the first and second Temple era.
In Issue 89 of messiah magazine, my brother and I wrote a feature article about the archaeological destruction that has been taking place and the heroic efforts of Bar Ilan University’s professor Gabriel Barkay to salvage what artifacts he can.
Now the Muslim Waqf authority who holds sovereignty over the Temple Mount is again excavating—not for archaeological purposes—but to dig a utility trench. Photos at this website reveal unbelievable footage of a terrible act of archaeological destruction.
If the Israelis were doing this on a Muslim holy site, the entire world would be up in arms. There would be demonstrations, riots and outrage. It is infuriating that the Muslims can destroy anything they want without any outcry from world media.
Maran Ata! We long to hear the voice of your shofar. How long, Lord, until your Holy Mountain is raised up?
The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, And all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; And they will call you the city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 60:14)

Visitor Feedback:
Absolutely outrageous!
How could they do this to their "3rd holiest" site?
(tongue in cheek)
Surely, they must need new utility trenches in Mecca & Medina, too?

Our hearts cry out to you, Father, just as Yirmeyahu's heart was in deep distress as he watched Yerushalayim burning to the ground. Daniel, I can feel your heart's grief and calling out for the day when our Master will restore and reign from His throne and the sufferings that we, His people agonize with deep in our hearts at hearing and seeing these acts will one day be comforted.
