Helping others understand

Since I have been on the Online Forum, a commonly-asked question has been, “How can I help my family and friends understand my interest in the Torah in a spirit of shalom?” This is indeed a concern for many of us who have family and friends who have been raised with a different understanding of the place of Torah in the life of the believer.

Many of you are probably thinking of signing up for a Torah Club volume, which will begin with the new cycle in a few weeks. I would like to suggest to you Torah Club Four (Messianic Commentary on the Gospels and Acts). In our congregation, we are just completing Torah Club Four and it has been VERY well received. It has also provided me with information that has helped me to enlighten people with the Torah and Jewish traditions spelled out in the Apostolic Scriptures without the feeling that they are being judged.

Torah Club Four takes you through the Gospels and gives you insights, history, and explanations that have been lost to the Church for many years. This is a great way for you to grow in your understanding of the Jewish roots of the Apostolic Scriptures and have volumes of information that you can share with family, at Bible studies, or in personal conversations.

When you become a Torah Club member, you are also given information on joining the Torah Club Online Forum. This is another great way to talk with people who are doing the same things you are. On the Online Forum, we share thoughts, ideas, and support each other as we bring the light of the Torah to others. It may help them to see that which we have come to see and love in our own lives.

So if you are wondering what volume of Torah Club to get this year, I suggest you search out Torah Club Four and visit us on the Online Forum. If you have already done Torah Club Four, there are others to choose from. Torah Club Four is one of my five favorite Torah Clubs. You will not be disappointed!
