To Whom…Florida

By Boaz Michael  | Comments (4) | Posted on March 16, 2007

I am sitting in rainy Tampa and just received a call from Daniel who is sitting on the plane, which is stopped on the runway in freezing Philadelphia. He called to tell me that they are thinking the plane may not take off due to ice. He may be stranded in Philly for the weekend. Daniel is supposed to be in Tampa at 1:00 today for a weekend of teaching and FFOZ seminars.

I need to request your prayers for FFOZ this weekend, particularly on Sunday. This coming Sunday we will be conducting the Sarasota, Florida “To Whom Shall We Go?” seminar. This is still a test run for us as this seminar’s material is still being developed. Developed in the sense that we are still working on and sharpening our delivery and presentation of this vital material. We are working towards having everything finalized by the May “To Whom…” event in Hudson, WI. The message that we present in this seminar could be the most critical message that FFOZ has presented to date.

I will give you a post-seminar follow-up and lord willing some pictures.

I was just wondering how the meeting in Florida this last weekend went. We are in Indiana, but we have some friends in the ministry living close to that area of Florida. They are not Torah observant but seem open to some things. We recommended that they go to your seminar and we believe they did. We were hoping it would have an impact on them.
Thanks for your time.

So I never arrived in Florida, but apparently my luggage did. I heard the conference went well without me anyway.

I finally got back to Minnesota after being stranded by the airline for five days in Philadelphia. It was a great adventure. I saw Liberty Hall and the other downtown Philly sights, and I found some kosher corn beef and pastrami sandwiches which were so good they almost made me weep.

Sorry I did not make it to Florida though. This is actually the second time I have had an FFOZ trip scheduled to go to Florida that was cancelled by weather. Two years ago I was going to participate in a conference somewhere near Orlando when a hurricane closed the airport. As Nachman ben Gamzo used to say, "It's all good."

Hope to visit there some day.

Daniel - Sorry I missed you... not in Tampa, in Philly. I was there over the same weekend. I was able to fly my flights to Boston, Providence, and Hartford in spite of the weather, but it we were extremely late.

Which airline stranded you (hope it wasn't mine ).
