We’ve been enjoying the warm weather of the South hoping to wait it out while the snow and ice of the northern states melts off. Thankfully, it looks as though winter is coming to an end. Thus, we are planning to embark upon the northern Midwestern states to continue the Shalom Tour.
After a brief trip to Israel for the new HaYesod program, we will be returning in the beginning of May to St. Paul, MN/Hudson, WI area. In order to prepare for the “To Whom Shall We Go?” Shavuot event, we will be staying mostly in that area. If you have a home group or congregation within a couple hours of that area, I would be more than happy to come out on a Sunday to fellowship or speak for your group.
After Shavuot, it’s back to the road. For the first week of June, we plan on making stops in Wisconsin. If you are interested, we would love to stop and fellowship with some cheese-heads.
From there, we will be making our way to the windy city! From June 11-15 we will be working to bring shalom to the bustling metropolis of Chicago.
After some time in Illinois, we’ll be moving on to the northern part of Indiana. We hope to spend the third week of June with our Hoosier brothers and sisters in that area.
After Indiana, it is up to the Mitten State for an extended stay. We plan on being in Michigan from about June 22 – July 16. We are long overdue for a visit to Michigan; we may even go up to the U.P. (upper penninusla) in hopes of meeting with some “Yoopers!”
Our Midwest tour will finish with a trip through Ohio on our way to Nashville for the MIA Annual Conference. We would like to make stops in Ft. Wayne, IN; Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; and Louisville, KY between July 17-25.
We are scheduling these dates right now. If your area is on this route and you are interest in having me, please contact either me (boaz (at) ffoz.org) or Seth Dralle (seth (at) ffoz.org), to secure a date for the Shalom Tour. I look forward to working with all of you and I pray that the Father’s shalom would continue to work itself out through this tour.
In Messiah,
Boaz Michael

In Breaking Bread we present a clear exposition on the traditional blessings before and after meals. Includes halachah, detailed explanations and an introduction to the table blessings of the early believers.

The Midwest...I wasn't sure if you would do this area. Well, if you find yourself in Fargo, ND, my husband and I would love to meet you and your family. Unfortunately, there is no congregation here, yet, unless you count a congregation of three: my husband, I, and our young son Nathaniel. Blessings, Brianna Nelson

Just to encourage you Brianna and anyone else out there feeling alone - we began with a congregation of 4 at our first Passover 3 years ago. Then we met one other family and had 18 at our 2nd Passover. This year, with mostly just our Torah Club (TC2) and only those people that asked us or had expressed an interest to be included, we rented a clubhouse and had 42! And due to circumstances there were more who couldn't come or had illness or whatnot. Several of the "core" families (we have 9 families represented now in our TC) in our Torah Club we met by pure providence of the LORD. Its very interesting because we truly have become a community without much effort - we just love and respect each other, pray together and are committed to the Truth and we truly like each other! He who began a good work in you, will be faithful to complete it! Blessings, Sally
