 Teaching Team

New White Papers

This summer Boaz and I went out the road teaching across the US. For the most part we both taught the new seminar “Knocking on Heaven’s Gates”. In this teaching we introduce what we consider to be the “Lost Appointed Time” of prayer. This seminar really begins to get at the heart of the direction of FFOZ in the next couple of years especially with the siddur project in progress.

Two questions that we frequently got asked are:

1. When are the daily appointed times exactly?

2. What do you pray at these times?

The short answer to the first question is in the morning and in the afternoon but the specific answer requires a little more explanation. That’s what we hope the paper “Zmanim: Times of Prayer,” will answer in more detail.

Although God willing we hope in the near future that the answer to the second question will be to direct people to the forthcoming FFOZ siddur, for now we recommend that people read our paper, “Outlines for Set Times of Prayer”.

Both of these new White Papers can be accessed under downloads/whitepapers from our home page.

May you be blessed as you discover these appointed times and remember that the most important aspect of prayer is not necessarily what we say but that we stop and take time to acknowledge our Creator.

Kol Tov,
Toby

Toby:

Thank you very much for that. It answered my question I left for Aaron on his blog! I have not had a chance to order the "Knocking on Heaven's Gates" material yet, but hope to soon. The Spirit has been tugging at my heart for sometime about working on my prayer life. These resources will be a termendous help. Thank you again.

Shalom,
Bill

Hello--

These white papers are now New & Improved!

Even if you've already downloaded these, you might want to look at the new versions, which are now even easier to understand.

Shalom in Messiah,
