As we soon begin in the Torah through book of Exodus, I am reminded of the many parallels the wilderness journey of the Israelites has to our own journey in faith. Many of us have come out of our own Egypts and much like the Israelites did not really know what to expect. The Torah is given in fire, smoke, and thunder while the Israelites stand by and say "All that the LORD has spoken we will do!” Yet, they had little knowledge of what they were saying yes to. This would only be revealed in time.
To me this rings strong cords of similarity. As we have all embarked on a journey of discipleship, we eagerly agree to be obedient to the Father long before we know what that entails. This journey of Torah observance is a process and the revelation that never ends. When we stop changing and being molded by the Father’s Torah is when we have stopped growing in our faith. Although we will never reach perfection, it is the goal that Master asks us to move towards.
Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)
At FFOZ our primary purpose has and will always be to be an aid in this growth process. Unfortunately there is as much confusion in the Torah movement as there is in any other denomination of Christianity. There is a lot of unknown and craziness in the wilderness so to speak. FFOZ desires to be a balanced voice that is committed to teaching the Torah from Hebraic perspective firmly rooted in the Scriptures. At the end of the day we pray that we have helped in a restoration of the Torah that draws people to a deeper walk with the Father and His Son Yeshua.
One of the ways that we hope to accomplish this is through the launch of our new website. It has a completely new design and layout which will hopefully be more attractive and easier to use. An added feature of this new site is the bogging area. We will be posting regularly from the creative team on ongoing issues that are taking place in the Torah movement as well as updating you as to the ongoing of us as a ministry and individuals. For example Daniel Lancaster posted on the recent controversy that arose concerning the virgin birth. God willing this will serve be one more vital piece of communication for our ministry that will enable us to keep you abreast as well as address issues in a timely fashion as they arise.
Feel free to post comments and participate in these posts and online discussions.

With this all new Hebrew learning resource you can get started in learning Hebrew and drawing ever nearer to the Jewish Messiah as you master the Hebrew alphabet

Shalom Boaz,
Its nice that you are addressing controversial issues like the virgin birth and sharing opinions. I just wish we could have open dialogue about this and other controversial issues. You say 'feel free to post comments and participate in these posts and online discussions' but when I posted comments and questions about the virgin birth topic two times, nobody responded nor were my comments/questions put up for others to see. Instead, I was censored. Yet the simple 'amen' type comments were posted for all to see.
I have big questions I need answers to on this issue. For Daniel or anyone else to say we must believe in the virgin birth doctrine is fine, but shouldn't they be willing to deal with the questions from people like me that are good questions and based on scripture? I don't want an argument, I just want a good honest discussion. Even a personal e-mail response would have been fine if you guys didn't want to put my questions up on your site.
It doesn't help ones argument to silence those who have questions about it.
Sorry for complaining, but I just don't think its a good policy.
I hope you see my sincerity in this.
Shalom,
Andrew

Rest assured you were not censored. In fact, I had not noticed your post until last night and was going to discuss it with Daniel and others today. It is our intention to approach you privately—it is just a matter of time. From your post that I reviewed I did not see any questions—just statements.
In regards to our intentions with these BLOGS. Moderate discussions on certain topics will be allowed from time to time. The primary area for discussion on the web site will be reserved for the FFOZ TC forum. For us it is a matter of time, not an unwillingness to engage in debate or discussions. Each staff member that posts will have the option of allowing comments to be made and or giving an option for discussion. They will also have the right, if necessary to reject responses and not have them publicly posted. We have found that some people have only posted on our sites in order to receive a higher amount of reads due to our high traffic. Their posts have only been made in order to promote their agenda and not to enter into sincere dialog. I am sure that you would agree that our supporters that pay for this site and expect our proper stewardship of their funds would not appreciate this. We must be fair and balanced in our responsibilities.
We are in the process of creating a sort of “conditions” statement that will express the boundaries for this venue.
