Annual Update and Support Request

Greetings from the road!

As the fiscal year draws to a close, I am extremely encouraged. As I reflect back on 2006, and I look ahead to 2007, it's exciting to see Abba's hand guiding our ministry, opening doors and leading us in new and unexpected directions.

In my opinion, 2006 was very productive year for many reasons:

  • We hired Toby Janicki, who has proven to be a solid addition to our teaching staff. He taught many "Knocking on Heaven's Gates" seminars, has effectively managed our web forums, and has regularly contributed to messiah magazine.
  • The "Pray in the Sprit" conference in Pennsylvania was a huge success. The staff agreed that this was the best Shavuot they had ever experienced, and the presence of the Father could be felt throughout the weekend.
  • Daniel Lancaster completed his third book for FFOZ, "King of the Jews." Very timely in the wake of the DaVinci Code movie and its publicity, KOTJ was well received and continues to establish Yeshua as Messiah-firmly rooted in His Torah context.
  • My family and I have recently set out on the Shalom Tour: a year-long journey in attempt to connect with this vast and diverse movement. We hope to establish new relationships, strengthen old ties, and spread peace and unity to the many different groups with which we come in contact.

During this past year we have connected with more of you than ever before, and it has truly been a blessing. Whether you attended our seminars, purchased our materials, made a donation, prayed for our ministry, or wrote an e-mail of encouragement, we truly thank you.

As the secular year comes to a close, and we look ahead to the many projects that we have in store for 2007, I would like to again ask you for your help. Please consider giving a year-end contribution (or signing up to give monthly) to help strengthen and grow the ministry of FFOZ. Here are just a few of our pending projects:

  • A natural outcome our prayer focus (as taught at "Knocking on Heaven's Gates" and "Pray in the Spirit") is undertaking the creation of a comprehensive siddur for the messianic movement. Our hope is that this monumental and time consuming task will be a useful tool for bringing unification to the many different groups within our movement.
  • We hope to release the Shabbat version by fall 2007. Continue sending teachers out to speak, perhaps more often than we have in the past in an effort to connect with more people face to face.
  • Rewriting the HaYesod discipleship program, which will be put onto DVD and updated with our theological progress from the past years. Rewriting Torah Club Volume Three, which will, Lord willing, be ready for a fall release.
  • We also hope to release the first in a series of books on the practical implementation of the commandments. The Mayim Hayim ("Living Water") series will provide more advanced levels of education for the Torah movement.

Your gifts help us to continue spreading the message of the Master and His Torah to the body of Messiah.
