The Torah Cycle

A new Torah cycle is about to begin. I trust all is well with you and that your studies in the Torah continue to be rewarding.

The amount of the Torah that I do not know never ceases to amaze me; discovering new things year after year constantly reminds me of how much I have yet to learn. I have personally found great wisdom in the design of the annual reading cycle. It serves as a set course of study that launches us into searching and considering the whole Scriptures from week to week. As we all begin the Toray study cycle anew this year, may the Father bless us and open our eyes again to the wonders of His Torah. As it says in James 1:23–25, may the Torah be a “mirror” for us, reflecting who we truly are and who we are called to be in the Messiah.

If you have not yet studied through one of our Torah Club programs I highly recommend that you consider doing so for this upcoming Torah cycle. Torah Club is a comprehensive study-program that will get you into a disciplined routine of learning the Word of God. The extensive written commentaries in each volume of Torah Club launch from the weekly Scripture reading to elucidate the whole Bible. They are an invaluable source of information on the biblical text featuring insights and thoughts on the Torah from the best of the classical commentators and ancient rabbis. In the Torah Club you have a rich source of Torah teaching that highlights the Messiah, presents practical application of the commandments, and offers balanced, scholarly Messianic commentary.

The audio CD’s are formatted as an audio-magazine covering a variety of issues relating to the weekly study not covered in the written notes. You can listen to them on the way to work, while at home or play them for a small group. They are a great way to get people thinking about and discussing Torah. (Torah Club Volume Three is the only club that does not currently have an audio component.) The audio magazines contain a compelling, entertaining and attention getting children’s story, a teaching on the weekly Torah portion, a practical life-application and an introduction to biblical Hebrew. All of these segments are sewn together with unique, Messianic music.

Below is a paper that gives additional details on the program. The costs range from $20.00 to $35.00 per month depending on the Club options you select. Seventy percent of this monthly fee is a tax deductible contribution to the work of FFOZ.
