Sowing in the Field
Shalom FFOZ reader! During the past several months, we have aggressively shared our Messiah-centered, Torah-based message to the greater Body of Messiah. Since August we have conducted over 30 seminars and have spoken to over 2,500 people. We have planted many seeds, and many of them have fallen onto the fertile soil of genuine seekers where they will certainly take root. Here are some recent comments that we have received:
- I am so blessed by your ministry. I truly believe you have your finger on the pulse of what G-d is doing in the Body of Messiah today.
- This view is really giving me a pause!
- We are new to the Torah lifestyle, but have felt a pull to a higher level of obedience for a couple of years.
- OKAY, okay, you've converted me. I want to keep a Torah-observant lifestyle. I've started your Torah Club; I've read every magazine of yours and several of your books.
- I am refreshed by the Messianic perspective on the Scriptures. I can't even begin to express the joy that we feel knowing that there is an organization like FFOZ!
- Thank you so much for the resources you provide to us. I am always happiest when I am learning, so these are happy times!
What teachings are eliciting these responses? The message of FFOZ is none other than the Master's call to turn back to the Torah. It is part of Paul's call to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy. It is a message that results in the ultimate restoration that we all eagerly anticipate. We are the first fruits of this message, the first fruits of the great harvest. That means we all are responsible for sharing this message with others. Except for the message of Messiah Himself, nothing could be more exciting.
Yet it has been my experience (as I am sure it has been yours as well) that it takes consistency, patience and dedication to share this message. The truth that the Father has so graciously revealed to us in His Word is not always warmly received. Traditional church theology and teachings have belittled God's Word and caused the simple truth of Torah to be misunderstood. It will require heroic resolve from all of us, and the work of God's Spirit, to correct this traditional anti-Torah approach.
Over the next few months you will see several new FFOZ products that are specifically designed to help each of us share this message, equip us with a sound Torah-based apologetic, and serve as entry points for people new to the message. I am very excited to share these with you, and I am confident that these materials are some of our strongest and clearest presentations yet.
With this said, I am asking for your continued financial support. Our dedication to presenting the message of Messiah and Torah in a professional, theologically dependable and engaging style requires finances. As you probably already know, subscriptions to our flagship publication, messiah magazine are donation-based. Your partnership with us in this effort is vitally important as we continue to publish and create new study materials.
We rejoice together with every testimony and with every new resource this ministry produces. We all share in this mission: Proclaiming the Torah and its way of life, while fully centered on the Messiah, to today's people of God. The rest of the harvest is coming, let us keep sowing in the field. Prayerfully consider a contribution to the general needs of First Fruits of Zion.
